International Missions
The Nettles Family, through Youth with a Mission, is doing mission work in the St. Mark area of Haiti. Following the earthquake in Haiti, the church was able to send relief supplies to St. Mark to help the refugees. For more information, see the following video.
The Zirkel Family Ministering with the Methodist Church in San Jose, Costa Rica
In 1995, the Zirkels were invited by Dr. Luis Palomo, Bishop, to minister with the Methodist Church in San Jose, Costa Rica. Ray is an ordained elder and Lidia an ordained deacon in the Methodist Church. Ray serves as a professor at the Evangelical Methodist Seminary. In addition, Ray is president of the Board of Directors of the Methodist School; and he helps to plant and develop local congregations. Lidia is the director of the Methodist Children’s Home in Coronado, Costa Rica. Together, Ray and Lidia minister with 25 plus short-term mission teams each year who work on a variety of church related ministries. Today, their call and vision for the people of Costa Rica continues to grow. It is their prayer that you would join them be becoming a partner in ministry with them.
