What to Expect
When you come into the main worship space at Memorial United Methodist Church, expect to be greeted warmly. Most likely, you'll pass by the Welcome Booth with the red awning near the back, where you'll be handed a program which will outline some of the things you'll experience that morning.
We'll sing songs together, read together, and listen together as our pastor delivers a message to equip us for life as a Christ-follower. The morning is designed so that our attention is focused primarily on God, but worship is a community exercise as well, so it's important that we acknowledge our connection with one another as well.
There may be a few elements of our worship service which are unfamiliar to you. There's no need to feel out of place. No matter who you are, you are welcome to participate in every aspect of the morning. If you have questions about what's happening, you'll find Ushers in the foyer area behind the congregation, and you can feel free to ask them about any part of worship.

What about my kids?
Kids join their parents at the beginning of every worship service. We believe that worshipping together is an important aspect of growing up in the Christian faith. Understandably, however, kids want a space that's theirs, where they can move about, learn at their pace, and be active! After the time of greeting, kids in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade will be dismissed to go with their Sunday School teachers to the Clubhouse, located across the street of the south end of the Sanctuary. Our wonderfully loving teachers will be so happy to have your child come and learn about Jesus.
